WCCLT20 Suspected Illegal Bowling Action Policy – 2025

1. Introduction
The WCCL Board is committed to ensuring fair play and maintaining the spirit of cricket. This policy outlines the process to identify, review, and address suspected illegal bowling actions during the WCCLT20 tournament.

2. Reporting
If a bowler’s action appears illegal, the on-field umpires will report it to the WCCL Board after the match. The report will include match details, bowler’s name, and reasons for suspicion.

3. Review and Analysis
Upon receiving a report, the WCCL Board may arrange a video analysis or review session. The bowler will be informed in writing and may provide a response or evidence if desired.

4. Assessment and Decision
If the review confirms an illegal bowling action, the bowler will be suspended from bowling in the tournament until cleared by the WCCL Board. A written notice will be sent to the player and their team management.

5. Reassessment
A suspended bowler may apply for reassessment after corrective training. If cleared, they can resume bowling in WCCLT20 matches.

6. Confidentiality
All reports, reviews, and decisions will remain confidential between the WCCL Board, the player, and the respective team.

7. Enforcement
The WCCL Board’s decision will be final and binding on all players and teams participating in WCCLT20.
