Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 15 October 2026
1. Introduction
WhiteCoat Celebrity Cricket League (“WCCL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, store, disclose and otherwise process personal information when you visit the WCCL website, submit an enquiry, express interest in WCCL opportunities, register your interest as a player, interact with WCCL online, or otherwise communicate with us.
By using the website or voluntarily submitting information to WCCL, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We May Collect

- website or LinkedIn information;
- medical specialization or professional background where relevant to player participation;

- CricHeroes profile URL;
- social-media profile information voluntarily provided by you;
- sponsorship interests and objectives;
- team ownership interests;
- indicative budget or investment range;
- preferred WCCL team or city;
- messages, enquiries and information you voluntarily submit;
- communication preferences;
- technical information reasonably generated through use of the website, such as browser/device information, IP address, referring pages and website usage data where analytics or security systems are used.
We ask users not to submit unnecessary sensitive personal information through general website forms.
3. How We Collect Information
Information may be collected when you:
- submit the Contact WCCL form;
- submit a Sponsorship Enquiry;
- submit a Team Ownership Enquiry;
- submit a Player Registration or Future Interest form;
- communicate with WCCL by email, telephone, WhatsApp or social media;
- attend or participate in WCCL events or activities;
- interact with WCCL advertisements or campaigns;
- voluntarily provide information to an authorised WCCL representative; or
- use the WCCL website and related digital services.
4. How We Use Your Information
WCCL may use information for legitimate organisational and business purposes including:
- responding to enquiries;
- evaluating sponsorship opportunities;
- discussing team ownership opportunities;
- managing player registration, future-interest and selection processes;
- contacting prospective participants, partners and stakeholders;
- arranging meetings and follow-ups;
- administering WCCL events and league operations;
- communicating relevant WCCL announcements and opportunities;
- maintaining internal records;
- improving the website and user experience;
- preventing misuse, fraud and security incidents;
- complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations; and
- establishing, exercising or defending legal rights where reasonably necessary.
Submission of an enquiry does not guarantee sponsorship rights, team ownership, player registration, player selection or participation in WCCL.
5. Communications and Your Preferences
If you submit an enquiry or request information from WCCL, we may contact you through the contact details you provide, including email, telephone or WhatsApp, for purposes connected with that enquiry. This includes an acknowledgement that your enquiry has been received and messages you have requested, such as meeting or appointment confirmations.
Our Team Ownership and Sponsorship enquiry forms also offer two separate, optional permissions, both unticked by default:
- follow-up emails from WCCL about your enquiry; and
- WhatsApp messages from WCCL’s official business number about your enquiry.
These permissions are not required to submit an enquiry. Each is recorded separately, together with the date and the version of the wording you agreed to. WCCL will only send automated follow-up messages through a channel you have agreed to.
Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw either permission at any time, independently of the other:
- Email: use the unsubscribe link included in WCCL follow-up emails, or write to hello@wcclt20.com.
- WhatsApp: reply STOP to any WCCL WhatsApp message, or write to hello@wcclt20.com.
Once you opt out of a channel, WCCL records the request and checks it before every automated message, so no further follow-ups are sent through that channel. Opting out of one channel does not affect the other unless you ask us to stop both. If an email to you bounces or is reported as spam, we also stop follow-up emails to that address.
Withdrawing consent does not affect messages already sent, and WCCL may still respond to you directly where you contact us or where a message is necessary in connection with your enquiry.
AI Chat Assistant. WCCL provides an AI-powered virtual assistant on its website to answer general questions about the league, Team Ownership and Sponsorship opportunities, and to help visitors request contact from the WCCL team.
Visitors are informed that they are communicating with an AI assistant and not a human representative.
The assistant processes the messages submitted during a conversation to generate responses. The conversation is not saved in your browser and ends when you close the chat window or leave or reload the page. To prevent abuse, WCCL keeps a one-way hashed (non-readable) form of the visitor’s IP address with a request count for a short period.
When a visitor requests a callback or submits an enquiry, WCCL stores the contact information, qualification answers and callback preferences needed to process that request, and sends an acknowledgement of the callback request.
A conversation summary or transcript is attached to the CRM lead only when the visitor separately agrees to save the chat.
Visitors should avoid sharing passwords, financial account credentials, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information through the chat.
AI-generated responses are informational and do not constitute binding commercial offers, confirmed appointments or commitments by WCCL.
6. Sharing of Information
WCCL does not sell personal information.
Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with authorised WCCL personnel and service providers supporting website hosting, databases, communications, analytics, event operations, technology, professional services or other legitimate WCCL activities.
Service providers currently used for enquiries and communications include:
- Lovable Cloud — website hosting and secure storage of enquiries in WCCL’s private database;
- Resend — delivery of WCCL emails, including acknowledgements and opted-in follow-ups;
- Meta Platforms — website advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel, used only after you accept marketing cookies, and, where you opt in, WhatsApp Business messaging.
AI Service Providers. WCCL may use third-party artificial intelligence technology providers to process visitor chat messages and generate responses through its website assistant. The assistant currently uses Lovable AI, provided by our website hosting provider Lovable, which processes chat messages using language models from OpenAI.
These providers process information as necessary to deliver the requested AI chat functionality, subject to applicable service agreements and data protection safeguards.
WCCL limits access to stored CRM information to authorised personnel and applies appropriate controls to protect enquiry and conversation data.
Enquiry details are accessible only to authorised WCCL staff through a private, access-controlled system.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, lawful governmental request, court order or where reasonably necessary to protect WCCL, its participants, users or legal rights.
Service providers should receive only information reasonably required for their function and are expected to handle information appropriately.
7. Data Storage and Security
WCCL takes reasonable administrative, organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.
However, no internet transmission, electronic communication or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Data Retention
WCCL may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for ongoing legitimate organisational or business needs, dispute resolution, record keeping, or compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law and WCCL’s operational requirements.
9. Cookies and Analytics
The WCCL website may use cookies or similar technologies required for website functionality, security, performance measurement or analytics.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate information or choices regarding non-essential cookies will be provided.
10. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may contain links to third-party platforms and services, including CricHeroes, social-media platforms, Google Maps, YouTube or other external websites.
WCCL does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. When you leave the WCCL website, the privacy policies and terms of the relevant third-party service apply.
11. Photographs, Video and Event Media
WCCL events may be photographed, filmed or recorded for legitimate league, broadcast, editorial, promotional, archival and media purposes, subject to applicable law and any relevant participant agreements, permissions or notices.
Specific participant, player, celebrity, commercial or media rights may additionally be governed by separate agreements.
12. Children
WCCL’s website and commercial enquiry forms are not intended to knowingly solicit personal information from children for commercial opportunities without appropriate involvement or authorisation from a parent, guardian or other person authorised under applicable law where required.
13. Your Requests and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may contact WCCL regarding personal information you have provided, including to request correction, updating or deletion where appropriate, or to withdraw from non-essential communications.
Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law or for legitimate record-keeping, contractual or dispute-resolution purposes.
14. Applicable Data Protection Law
WCCL intends to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Indian privacy and information-technology laws and other applicable requirements as they come into force or apply to WCCL’s activities.
WCCL may update its privacy practices as legal and regulatory requirements evolve.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
WCCL may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in operations, technology, website functionality or applicable requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the revised “Last Updated” date.
